This one-day workshop will explore the art of writing biography, memoir, autobiography through discussion, exercises, and by example. We’ll be looking at how to find your voice as a writer, your audience, the form that your writing should take. There’ll be sessions on structure and the writer’s toolkit. We’ll discuss tips on creating the narrative arc and look at the role of craft versus inspiration. The aim will be to create confidence and clarity when embarking on a life-writing project.
