About
If you've finished (or getting close to finishing) your book, but don't yet have an agent or a publisher, then this event is for you. The day focuses relentlessly on explaining everything it takes to get published: what you need to do, what agents are looking for, what publishers will buy. As with our York Festival, the event is going to be heaving with agents, publishers, book doctors ... and fellow Clouders. Loads more info on the site here: www.festivalofwriting.com. We look forward to seeing you there!

by John Taylor 1 year agoSee you, Blue
What does one wear to a London Club? I'm probably too scruffy to make it through the door when dressed in my best! -
by BlueDiamondMist 1 year agoHey guys, looking forward to seeing you all again. I'm off to London first thing in the morning to get ready for the 'big day'.
See you all there! xx -
by ohthattanya 1 year agoI booked onto this a while ago, which is how I discovered the Word Cloud, so I'll be there!

by John Taylor 1 year agoMe and scattered partner please, Harry. Only I'm the scattered one. Cheers!
-
by Tony 1 year agoYeah, you can only brng one partner, Blue Diamond. Sorry.
Count me in, too, please, Harry. Just one of me, I'm afraid. -
by BlueDiamondMist 1 year agoP.S. I know you did say a 'scattering of partners' but I just want to double check :o)
-
by BlueDiamondMist 1 year agoJust to check Harry, is it OK for partners to come to the restaurant too?

by Debi 1 year agoCount me in. I'll be interested to see the menu. My recollection is that prices there were pretty steep ...

by Harry 1 year agoHooray! We've got a table booked for all Word Clouders coming to the GP event. It's at the restaurant in Waterstones Piccadilly. I've got a reservation for 20 people, so that's all 14 WC-ers plus a decent scattering of partners. The meal will run approx from 7.30 to 10.00.
Everyone will pay their own way, but prices are perfectly affordable. Nothing too fancy for the Cloud!
I'll post again with a draft menu soon ...
