OK favourite:
Mary Doria Russell
why: Characterisations very good, like real people, dialogue good, imaginative story lines.

Least:
James Patterson
why; One dimensional characters, same plot every time, too much product placement, writes alot with other 'authors' and it seems to me they write a short chapter each via email!
