Just a test to start a new topic before I post the short story. Thanks Whisks, Tony for advice on cut and paste etc. End of first para.

I will centre the second paragraph with this reply and see what works! NO EVERYTHING CENTRES!

I’m not sure how to add the italics / bold etc. I hope this works. I hope that I can delete this topic when I’ve checked it!

Autumn (sorry, I ignored your 'please ignore' tittle!). You do know, don't you, that we are to post our entries on the Forum that is within the Intercity Challenge Group, not in this main Forum area? Just thought I'd check; I'm sure you do.

Thanks Tony. Yes, the penny has finally dropped -doh! - that we would be posting on IC group forum (I didn't know there was a difference until I searched the general forum - all the threads - for half an hour for your C&P one lol.) I didn't want to put this test on there as I didn't know if I could delete it again after, and I didn't want to clog up the group forum with another test thread! The only thing I can't do now is centre one line; even highlighting one line: when I click the centring button the whole post gets centred... but that's not too critical!

I think you should leave your c&p topic on there to assist others - there will surely be a few more who want their stories to have formatting...
