Help!
I've posted up a link to a story in Inter City Challenge, and it
stays black and doesn't work as a link. Is there an approved
proper way of creating links?

What I did, John, was to open my story page, select the url at the
top of the screen and copy it (Ctrl+C); go to AlanP's Link Page and
paste it in (Ctrl+V) with a suitable comment. That seemed to work
OK.

I did the same, Tony, but no link appeared. Maybe you have to press
return at the end of web address?*!?

John,
You have to:
1. Select and copy the text with the link in (e.g. the URL at the
top of the page or in the bottom left corner)
2. Go to your post/reply box.
3. TYPE SOME WORDS FIRST into your actual post, e.g. 'Click
here'
3. HIGHLIGHT those words
4. Select 'Insert/Edit Link' from the little toolbar in the reply
box
5. Paste the URL into the box that pops up - where is says
'URL'
6. Click 'Insert'
7. It will embed the link in your highlighted words and they'll be
clickable.
If you don't highlight words first, the 'Insert/Edit Link' box
won't appear.
OK?

P.S. If you hover over the buttons on the little toolbar, it'll
tell you which one is 'Insert/Edit Link'.
