A thoughtful and evenhanded look back at the motivation behind
Ishiguro's 'Never let me go.'
This made me think again about my own motivation as a writer who
both cares about the quality of life of the people my characters
are based on, and has also shared in the (systematically un-)
caring profession.

Fascinating John - how did I miss this when you first posted
it?
I loved 'Never Let Me Go' and this has reminded me - how I felt
when reading.
