Hi, just wondered if you knew when the next festival in York would
be? Is there a website I could peek at?
Thanks

Welcome to the Cloud, Celia. You can get to the relevant website by
clicking 'Events' on the menu at the very top of this page, above
the Writers' Workshop/Word Cloud masthead. The Events page doesn't
mention the next York festival at the moment but no doubt it soon
will. (I don't know the dates for it but someone else might.) And
I'm sure that there will be plenty about it on the Cloud when it's
ready to launch.

Alternatively (I've just found this) you can sign up for emails
about the Festival here:

It hasn't been officially announced yet, because it's early days in
the organising, but as far as I know the idea is for it to be early
September 2012...

Yes. Indications are Sept 12.
Which feels a long time away, but it will great to get there with
a good year of learning and improving our craft.

Oh brilliant! Thanks very much for that, and thank you for the kind
welcome, and link, Spangles
That will give me a good amount of time to practice being
impatient!

Dates are up. September 7th to 9th. I really want to come, but I'm
a teacher in Japan. Not sure I can escape right at the beginning of
the term. Will probably escape anyhow. :)

Really hope you can make it this time, Claire. It took a tsunami to
stop you last time.
