My New Flash Fiction Website

Now I'm not sure if I am breaking any rules by putting a link to my new website here, but there's only one way to find out. Well, probably more than one, but this is probably the quickest.

I don't know if anyone is into Flash Fiction (FF) on the cloud - judging by the response, or lack thereof, to my call for FF writers, maybe not.

You don't know what you are missing! Writing an FF story is perfect for when you haven't got the motivation to write a long short story, or get on with your novel. It keeps the flow going. There are also big markets for it out there.

My website, Flash Fiction World is dedicated to writers and readers of FF. After I lost faith in my book the first bit of writing I did was a 400 word story for the Cloud September comp. I didn't win but I discovered the power of FF to get me back into writing and learn a lot about the craft at the same time.

Give it a go, have a look at FFW, and I would really enjoy you telling me about how you found it etc etc.

TIA

Vic

HI Vic, amazing site. You have real talent to get this one up and running. I'm sure it will be successful, and I'll put a link from my website page - so that my three readers can enjoy yours.

Laughing Thanks a lot Stephen, and thanks for your excellent story. I didn't know you have a website. Where is it?

I hope clouders don't see flash fiction, and FF websites, as against novels and short stories. It isn't. We need them as much as we ever did. It's just that FF meets a particular need. And I do believe it's a great tool for writers.

Thanks again mate.

Hi Vic - stephenterry.weebly.com where I mainly post chapters from my unpublished novel for a few friends. Nothing ambitious.

I am sure Clouders would embrace all forms of writing - as you say FF is not easy to write, and challenges the intellect. I enjoy these interludes, that's why I post on comps forum.

You must let me know what you're plans are - I'm interested - and if I can help, so much the better.

Erm, should be 'your' not you're - another gremlin...

BTW I have a archive of FF stories if you're (got that one right) interested. Maybe one a fortnight so as not to swamp others perhaps?
