Anyone know whats happening? Since Stephen did a review just over a month ago there's only been me posting with 3 reviews (2 bought before anyone thinks I'm getting all the books) but more to the point the fact that there's 2 comments to be moderated means no ones going on? I emailed Nikki last week regarding books I was reading as to whether anyone was reviewing them or not, but no reply. just wondering as I wont bother posting if its finishing.

Don't think it's finishing - just a quiet patch. I'm actually drafting a review at this very moment...

A little while ago, Nikki told me that she hadn't received very many books to send on, so it could be that too.

I'm also heading towards another review - reading the book at the moment. There's not that many people commenting but it's still early days for the website - need to give it a chance to build up readership??

Ha, yes, that could have been awkward! One of my reviews wasn't so good and I spent ages agonising over how to word it so that it didn't sounds like I was completely trashing it. It wasn't that terrible but it was not a good read, for me.

I've been lucky - everything I've been sent has been a cracking read.

I haven't sent anything in lately as I was bogged down with other things - even my own writing was pushed back. I might do one on The Ambassadors' Wife by Jake Needham that I'm reading on a Kobo. Its set in Singapore. Problem is, I liked his earlier stuff a lot, but so far this to me seems to have all the things we're told to avoid, like lack of dialogue to move the plot along. It better buck up soon, Jake.
