Guten Abend Cloudsters,
The Eye of Sayf-Udeen is my second novel, gently crafted with the
help of WW and Debi Alper (wonderful) and is a kind-of Da Vinci
Code story set in Portugal. Unlike DVC, the chapters are all more
than two pages long and ,also unlike DVC, it hasn't been picked up
by an agent yet, but the signs are good. Harry did a free read and
wan't sick and I'm waiting to hear from a real live agent. I
wait...and I wait.......
Whilst waiting, I published it on Lulu (see
http://www.lulu.com/content/paperback-book/the-eye-of-sayf-udeen/6298920)
but again, I find Lulu prices too high; 20 euros for a 10 euro
book. Nothing I can do about it guv. As I said in the Miracle
thread, the Lulu experience is good but you have to be very careful
with proof-reading, etc. They used to offer live help but that has
gone, unfortunately. If you have a problem you send an email and
wait.....and wait. I did the cover artwork myself but they have
plenty of new templates to choose from. Why publish? Well, it's so
much nicer to have a real book-shaped, book-sized book in your
hands!
Regards
Roger

As you know, Roger, I strongly feel this book is publishable and is
a lot better than many in the genre.
One day, I hope to see you post here with news of a traditional
deal. I'm convinced you'll get there.
