Am waiting. 'Wait, Jess!' said he, having just charged several
times round Danebury hill fort after the dog. Still waiting...
Wagging tail... Hoping...

I was just about to ask where I get my money back, but I think
I'll join forces with Athelstone (if that's OK, mate?) I'm sure
there'd still be a market for two rare first editions. In fact,
*fiendish cackle* WW might be persuaded to buy them back (at a
premium) in order to keep them off the open market.

I'll be waiting for the paper version...can't wait to see what
everyone wrote and remind myself what I offered up!
Another one for the writing CV...Thank you Debi for giving us
the opportunity - you're a star! Are you looking forward to the
2013 version later this year?!

You and me Tony - top of the world!!!
On a more serious note - it doesn't matter at all. If there are
corrections all you need to do is log on to your kindle account
-> Manage My Kindle -> scroll through your book purchases
-> hover over the Festival Book and select 'deliver to my...'
and it will be re-delivered.
But that's for the benefit of anybody else in a similar position;
I'm sure you knew anyway.

I didn't know that. Thanks, Ath. I too have one of the rare original
versions, complete with irritating errors.

Just had a look. It's #14 in the Kindle store charts! I don't know
whether to be delighted or worried.

I'm just thinking on Whisks' blog on e book resales. Not that I
would do any such thing but if you resell a rare misprunted version
does your buyer get a corrected version or the rare, highly priced
collectors edition.
I could affect someones retirement plans this.

Down to #19 in the charts. Welcome to the wonderful world of
obsessive Amazon rank checking. And this is before
the promo proper kicks off.

I'm frustrated too. Not so much by the corrections needed, more
that people keep talking to me on the train to work so I can't get
on and read it.
Sorry Debi if finding it late yesterday prompted a false
start

This is it. Properly it. The 'delgates' typo is the only thing
left to be sorted.
It's been a huge learning curve as neither the WW peeps nor I have
ever done e-book formatting. To expand: this is what our Nikki has
said:
We had to change all of the font, formatting and index stuff as
it was causing the repetition problem and I just didn't have the
time or experience to spend days over it so we decided to try and
keep it as simple as possible. Hence no index links to the
sections. I think if we had known what we know now we probably
would not have attempted this without a knowledge and understanding
of the process, or at least some guidance!
I'm sorry that we cannot improve the opening section and index but
at least it is working properly now. With regards to the text and
enlarged font that was how it was formatted when it came to me and
I converted it into the e-book. It may be that some 'font' stuff
you put in reacted with the e-book formatting and caused it....it
is possible! So, apart from the lead in fonts and the index all
should be well. I have updated the 'delgates' on the description so
in time.........
I think it's still a thing of beauty and something to be proud of.
I hope you all agree! Now tell everyone and share that link!

I can't emphasise enough that it's now down to you
all to help to promote the book. This is part of the
reality of being published. If everyone whose words are in the
book plays their part in promoting it on here, blogs, Facebook,
Twitter, real-life-word-of-mouth etc you'll ensure the widest
possible readership for your words and will get your names out
there. And that's the whole point, eh?
This is our gift to all of you. Enjoy.

Woot! Woot! We're #16 in the Kindle store! Your words are getting
out there, folks. We must be doing
something right.
We need more ... More tweets, FB links, blog posts. Keep spreading
the word.

You now have your own book page on the WW events tab here.
Must dash. There's a bottle with my name on it over on the party
thread.
