About
This group aims to provide links to the best writing on The Word Cloud. Everyone is welcome to contribute links to their favourite pieces by other authors.
For the full list of chosen writing and how to post links to your favourites, please take a look at the Topics in the group Forum (below Latest Activity).
NOTE:
Many of the links (particularly higher-ranked ones) now lead to dead ends. This is often due to contributors' profiles being deleted over the last year or so. If you'd still like to read some of the works, there's a higher chance of finding working links towards the middle of the list and lower down.

by tenpiesproductions 7 months agoHi. I have just started my own Wiki, called The Junior Scriptwriters Community Wiki. I have started adding pages, and someone else has done editing, but you are all welcome to join and contribute too! I hope it will be useful for all scriptwriters! So have a look. The address is www.thejuniorscriptwriterscommunity.wikia.com
Thanks, tenpiesproductions -
by tenpiesproductions 10 months agoHi all. I run a group myself on The Word Cloud, called Writing For Television. I'm starting to write for TV myself. So I have a question for you. If I am planning to submit a 45 -min TV script to the BBC, how many pages would I need? Would it be 1 pg = 1 min of screen time or 1 pg = 30-40 secs of screen time?

by Steve 10 months agoGuero Davila's work 'Almost Over Now' has now been added to the click-able links list of favourite writing. The link is to a dedicated group for the work - look for Part One in that group's Forum to start reading.

by Barry Walsh 10 months agoHear, hear GD. Sensitive, vivid and compelling. Hope we're going to see more.

You Call That Love, by Judith (available in a group near you).
I'm becoming a big fan of this lady's work; it's fresh as fondant, spicy as Spain, and in parts is not for the mild of heart. It's like Nicholson Baker meets Anais Nin. Try it. You might like it. It deserves its place here. -
by Steve 10 months agoThank you all for reposting the new links to your pieces. Most of the links now work (including your new ones, Wrath). Some links still don't work, usually because authors deleted their work, or have new profiles.
Those authors invited to repost their work on the Cloud and/or provide new links include: Marion, Maryluv, Weens, Aonghus, and Em. -
by Ancient Woodland 10 months agoSteve, you're a gentleman, thanks for all your hard work. Her you go:

by EzBloke 10 months agoI feel a bit of a fraud adding my own stuff in here, but this is the one someone thought was good enough.
