  Hey all, I've finished my first novel 80000 words and sent it out to 8 agents, but so far 4 have been returned and waiting on the others. Its been 2 months since I sent them out so I guess I'll send out some more. I was also considering e-publishing but I have some concerns about copywrite. I have a few quotes in the manuscript and I'm not sure what to do. I was hoping an agent would sort this out, but as with everything in my life I have to do it myself. Any advice apprecciated and I can post the first chapter if required. Cheers.

  Hello everyone. Brand spanking new to Word Cloud, to any Cloud as a matter of record. I just finished my first novel, 98000 words, and am scared to death. I've only submitted my manuscript to two publishers and amazingly one is interested. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing, so please pray for me.

  Hey guys :) How's it going?
  I think everyone wants a friend on here to read through their work and offer criticism, haha. Still, I've written my first manuscript and am looking around for people to help me. Just to offer advice on covering letters and the actual manuscript itself. Of course, I'll be sure to return the favour to anyone out there :D
