A useful link

Hello there, Cloudies!

First off, I hope everyones writing ventures are going well. I've been taking a loooooooong break from mine but I plan to restart very, very soon. This week has been my first week at university (Freshers' week, so you can imagine how much work I've done...)

I'm doing Psychology and Creative Writing Joint Honours and I was having a browse through some of the course content this afternoon and found this link. I believe I'll have to do some sort of critical analysis on it at some point but I won't panic about that yet!

Anyway, I've just read through the whole thing and found it extremely useful so thought I'd share it with you guys. Obviously you don't need to follow each thing but there are a few points that I hadn't considered before and just reading through it has made me want to do some editting!

I hope you find it as useful as I have:

It's going to be great, Bren, I really can't wait for it to start on Monday!

Yeah, there are a few conflicting pieces of advice and some that I know need to be ignored on personal preference but there are some pretty good tips in there too :)

I read this a little while ago, and I was overjoyed to find Neil Gaiman (one of my favourite authors) had contributed to it - and then even happier when I read his rules and realised I agreed with every single one of them :-)
