I sit. I wonder. The facts of life; my say in it. I strech my arm.
I clutch my hand. To grab what's mine, what belongs to me. I open
my fist. I find nothing but air. I take a deep breath. I smile. I
can breathe. I own a life. I am alive!
I wrote this on my trip to highlands. It just wrote itself. I felt
like writing it for real, but you are right Wrathnar, I should have
considered the sentiments of the dead. I'll keep that in mind the
next time! Apologies.
Wonderful. I only went up the Scottish highlands once - many years
ago. I was driven around by friend and we stopped, got out, and he
turned the engine off. I had never heard silence before.
