All buttoned up!
Anyone who has read my previous blog about life stuff will be
pleased to know that in the last seven days we have:
Moved my Mum from her bungalow to her new 'apartment', a couple of minutes walk from our farm.
Completed the sale on her bungalow and purchase of her apartment and cleared all her belongings out of her bungalow and cleaned up for the new occupiers.
Driven 300 miles down through France, 150 miles of which was in snow and ice, completed the sale of our house, cleaned it out, loaded up the belongings still there, stayed two nights with friends and drove 300 miles back again to return home late Wednesday night.
The Christmas tree is now up (and the lights are working!), the cake is iced, the turkey is in the fridge, the shopping done and a glass of wine awaits me in front of the fire.
And I even found time to get a haircut yesterday and take Sam the collie back to the vet to have his dressing changed - that's another story!
Phew!

I always think I'll be better organised next year, but I never am! It all gets done in the end though. Enjoy your wine.
Keep thinking positive thoughts and have a lovely, relaxing Christmas x
I can hear you sighing 'Aahhhhh!' as those feet went up and you reclined back with a glass of something festive in your hand. Think I'll go pour one for myself now and drink to your very good health.
Have a magical time. Very best wishes to you and yours.
Have a well-earned happy Christmas.
