Dream interpretations!

I had a dream last night that really freaked me out.  I dreamt I was pregnant!  As if that wasn’t bad enough I was lying on a beach in a bikini with my huge bump on show to the world.

I was wearing some awful chunky sandals, bright green, chunky beads around my neck and a huge straw hat.

I kept stroking my enormous stomach and discovered I had a belly button piercing with a diamond stud in it.  Classy or what?

I don’t normally remember my dreams, but this one I can’t get rid of.  I wonder what the hell it means – speculations welcome – bearing in mind I’m a 45 year old granny :o)

Haha Cazza, these sort of dreams normally mean that you're on the verge of something new - it's metaphorical pregnancy, indicating that you're cocooning something away until it is ready to come to fruition.

    Simple.

I agreee with Eshka. The birth of something new is about to break out in our life. Most probably in a unusal place and in an unexpected way. Beaches are usually to do with a crossing over point - a place of transition.
Belly's and jewellary are to do with your hearts desires so I guess it means exciting times ahead.

Well I hope you're both right - it could be the birth of my new book - that's only got four pages so far so I'd better get scribbling.

Cazza, I have a friend who is a qualified dream analyst. Do you want me to ask her exactly what it means? I'd have her analysing my dreams, but I can never remember them (grin).

That would be fantastic Weens, if she wouldn't mind giving her time and knowledge I'd love to know. I don't normally remember them either, that's why it was so unusual.

Perhaps you're 'pregant' with a new story. The idea has been conceived and gestation is under way. Only you think it may be too outlandish - (I got this far before deciding I ought to read what others have said; I see you are starting a new book) - too outlandish, not really you, too daring? or different? But go for it: it could turn out to be a real diamond for you.
Or the whole thing could go pear-shaped and you end up like a beached whale - that's the trouble with dreams, you can never be sure! :-)

:o) Ha Ha at Tony - pear shaped and like a beached whale - it's just how I feel after all the chilli I've just eaten.
