Hi all,

I know you are all wondering what has happened to our beloved Minxie. She sent me this note to share with you all, just so you know it wasn't anything you said. She knows how much you all want her back (because I have repeated all your laments to her) and I'm sure she will return when she is in a better place. Here's the message she sent.

i think it's just that everything's going wrong for me at the moment and when i got wrath's post i thought he was being 'funny' when i know he was just being wrathner!? i know the cloud's made up with lots of different droplets, and he didn't do anything wrong - i just came home from work, went on the cloud and was happy, then went to see a band and was happier, then read one wall post when i got back and felt sad. that's not his fault, it's because i'm in this horrible 'real life' place at the mo, work and other things that are going wrong - it could have been anyone, just happened to be him, which isn't his fault! tell him not to worry about it and make sure he knows he didn't do anything wrong, and if anyone asks, i don't mind you sending them this paragraph to tell them it wasn't because of anything he said, just the place i'm in - and send my love and say thank you for asking xx

I'm gonna be kinda terrified of posting anything to anyone, now. I guess no-one can know how another person will react to what seems (to themselves) to be an entirely innocuous comment. Maybe something I meant in general (about 'hard work' being more effective than 'luck') was taken by Minxie as a personal comment? It wasn't meant that way! Also, I'd been genuinely baffled by her post on my wall, so much so that I wondered if she had accidentally posted it to me when she'd meant it for someone else - maybe she misunderstood that? Arg. Anyway: Minxie, I fink you're lovely, I wouldn't knowingly do or say anything to upset you, and I'm grief-stricken that you're gone. Please come back soon!

I'll miss you Minx, come back soon but only when your ready. we all wish you well and hope that when you're in the right place, you'll grace us with you presence. the cloud won't be the same without you. Hugs from Bradwyn.

OK, well, bloody hell. We have to assume Minxie is watching this, which I surely hope she is. Anyone who has read her recent stuff should see that she has been in a dark place for a while. The dark place is her day job, where powerful egos lurk and assholes who think they are important strut. As a generalisation such people don't "officially" bully, they just think that they can play their self centred games with people they have some power over, because they can. I stepped out of corporate life and the existence of such vermin was one of the reasons, amongst others. Minxie, I hope you are reading this. This is a virtual world, but made up of real people. It is also truly one of the friendliest places I have come across. No-one here would say anything mean to you and if they did they would be squashed. In this respect we are a herd, we look out for each other. You have real world friends too, I am sure. But, you know, we can understand. And I have to say this; whatever Wrath may have accidentally said, he wasn't being mean. He would probably lie down in traffic for you if you asked. So come on, come back and tell us what's wrong. Maybe we can't fix it, but it can't hurt.

Oh Minxie, whatever is going wrong in your life, withdrawing from WC won't put it right. Staying may just help you to deal with it a bit better. Wrathy is a big softy and would cuddle you to death rather than hurt your feelings. So come back and be cuddled!

Hi Weens, what a poignant Blog. Being a newbie on the Cloud I never "met" Minxie, but I've been in so many dark places. I hope she's o.k.

And how are you, precious Weens, I wish I could have heard Emma's story, don't get radio 4 here, more's the pity. I am thinking of you and hope you are keeping well, and I hope I never inadvertantly hurt anyone on this site, us creative souls need to stick together.
