I unearthed some navy blue fabric earlier, and just to jazz it up added some collars and cuffs made from some navy stripe I had. I made the waist band longer, a prelude to the full dress idea, which I'd love to do in white, and here we go - sorry it's me in the pics!

In theory, I could do all sorts of shapes of neckline, I think the closer fit helps it stay put as there's a lot of volume in the body which, if one had a lower neck, might cause it to slips about a-bit, but then again it might not! I have worked out another idea for a cotton one after other blog comments, which would have to have a different neck being of a non-stretch fabric, so I'll see how that goes ;)

Really clever. Rather than have shops sat empty a few local designers (mainly art students from what I can tell) have been given permission to display their designs in windows of empty shops. I'm not sure how your town is doing on the empty shop front, but you should maybe see if you can use shop windows to advertise your clothes? They may charge a small fee but they may just want the town to look more appealing? Might be worth a try TFx.
