My show

I thought that I would finally get round to uploading some images from my trade fair. This is up setting up the stand, with the mannequines I made, which all look like my company logo.IMAG0379.jpg

I made all the funky green clothes railes as well, amazing what one can achieve with a jigsaw and some paint!

We were kindly given possibly the worst spot in the whole venue, though it's hard to see from here - and that was the problem, so were we! Right on the very end of the smallest row in the furthest level away from the main floor. Oh well, everyone up there had a pretty bad show, so I'm not trying to take it personally.

If you want to be curious, you can see the rest of my collection on my website, www.kappuke-ki-kidswear.co.uk - and if you have a website, a link to mine would make me very smiley!

How innovative. It is difficult when you put in a lot of effort and you don't get a fair response. Position is all important- hence the spots at trade shows vary so much in price. Customers are fickle. Your clothes look very comfortable.

Thank you, that is always my aim, no frill, no fuss but still look special. I will add some images of my new dress - it's so sweet it has cheered me up a little!

Looks fabulous, TF - how exciting. The clothes look very comfy. Do you make them in big sizes?

Lovely design: it shows off the clothes and gives the feel of a nursery school. And the clothes look great for messy kids like our two used to be (with a little encouragement from us)!

I get a lot of requests - and yes, I have made the Kimonii in a large size, I have one and my friend Lisa has two! I don't do it officially as it were, but I can, for special occasions!

Your stand looks fab, what a shame about the position. Still, there will be more trade shows, and maybe next time you will be given a great spot. I think you'll find an adult market for these too.

Alas there are more trade shows, but no more money to do them - this one has eaten up mu budget and has left me in a rather a poor state. Oh well, just keep on keeping on! And yes, I will slowly try to find and adult market too, I think there's great potential!

I agree with the others, your clothes look fab! All boys myself, but I can spread the word at the school. Have you thought about putting an advert in the Parents News magazine? All the best, Kaz :))))

My clothes are for boys and girls, and the problem I have is that I have no money left for any advertising, but I will see what I can find! Thanks for looking as always, and any help appreciated! TFx

Hi TFX - looks amazing!! The hangers are brillant too, very clever. What a shame the event didn't pay off for you. I would say the best advertising you could ever have is for some celeb's baby to be pictured wearing one of your outfits - but for most of us that's not usual, is it? You don't know a friend of a friend of a friend of Jordan or Posh by any chance? I wish you luck with the venture, I reckon the red, white & blue will be snapped up for the Olympics. ;-)

A nice web site - simple and bright colors I found the name of the company difficult to remember, but will post your site on I don't have a family myself, but people at work do, but I suspect they buy their kiddi-clothes at Primark.
