Is 30 really that OLD??

It was my friends 30^th at the weekend so we all got together in mass to venture in to town, we don’t do this that often anymore and while we were standing filed at the bar like straws we remembered why! Anyhoos...a couple of young men approached the birthday girl who was clutching her balloon to ask if it was her birthday – she points at the balloon which reads BIRTHDAY GIRL, and they smile.

‘So is it an “important” birthday?’ one asks.

‘Could say that.’

’21 is it?’

‘That’s the one!’

‘Don’t lie, Lynne,’ friend says, ‘she’s 22.’

‘Oh well, let’s get the birthday girl a drink,’ says boy with a wink.

Very nice of them to buy a drink for us all, so feeling a bit bad Lynne says ‘look, guys it’s actually my 30^th we are all 30 apart from her who’s 31.’

I’ve not seen people move so quickly in my life...WT...

Couldn’t stop laughing, thought I would share :D

30 only seems old when you are 24 and have just peed yourself with fright. I fear you frightened the little dears.

This is why it's always best to lie about your age! Only trouble with that is, you have to knock the ages of your kids down and it all gets a bit complicated. Especially when 'what school did you go' comes up. It's a '20 something' question from what I can remember?

At least they could have bought the drinks before doing a runner!

If you still go out in town for your birthday then you aren't old!! speaking of which! my belated birthday drinks in Gunwharf Portsmouth in a fortnight!! anyone fancy it?? lots of single sailors that honestly don't care how old you are!! not even a little bit??? hehehe

My older brother turning 30 later in the year.
