A re-post of a previous blog. Thanks so much to those who requested it. I'm hugely humbled, if that's not an oxymoron.

sniff sniff. You know how much I love your chickens Whisks, and you have earned your rightful place on the best writing page. I just can't believe you haven't yet got these stories into print. They are so delightful, a pleasure to read. I think all of them should be on the best writing page. Lovely to revisit this story.

I have no problems understanding why people requested a re-post of this, it's brilliant.
This is the first time ever i have wanted to read more about hens.

Whisks, thanks so much for reposting this. Chicken popularity has soared since you began.

I've noted the page link here and it'll be on the next group list update.

Thank you, you lovely lot. Weens, you're a tonic - no more, no less. Khaloth, your words were a lovely surprise - I'm so glad you want to read more about hens :), Steve, thanks for giving this another platform; Alan - if I'd known it was that easy to make you happy ... and sweet Marion - why cry? Celebrate, please! She did it her way.

The Life and Times of CB so poignently presented, full of featherly froth and choice chicken cheer still warms the cockles of our hearts second time around. Lovely to be reminded of your present brood's antecedants, Whisks. Always a delight.
