This might not mean much to you...

but I can't contain myself.  It's finally happened. The dim old bat I've worked with or carried I should say, for the last eleven years, is retiring within the next three months.

I can't believe it's finally happening.

I'm raising a glass just now.  We've all been jumping for joy since she told us, but trying to do it discreetly so she doesn't see.

Yeeeeeaaaaaaaaaassssss!

I can't keep the smile off my face :o)))))))))

I wrote in my status the other day that I was excited but didn't know why - I still feel that way and a few good things have happened or are happening that are making me understand why. It's like I picked up on the energy long before anything materialised.

I hope this is just the start - me and my family could do with a bit of good luck just now.

Cazza that's great, lol, I'm glad you're so happy! I know what it's like to work with an old bat, horrible! God that reminds me of that book, Dolores Claibourne, lol, you know the one Stephen King wrote in his early days?

Oh thats great. We once made our school management fire a teacher, he was working for money and nothing else. That day we felt extremely happy. However your case is a bit different except for the final outcome - joy, therefore enjoy.
