The Word Cloud

More poems - this time free verse.  First we had to write a poem about the memory of food.  This one came easily for me, as I remembered a lovely meal I had with great company. And the second exercise was about place, and was relatively lengthy.  We had to go outside, collect 10 words (from say, labels, signs, etc) then list 20 words giving our impression of the place. Back home, draft a poem, then leave it for a while.  After further editing, post it. Proved tough actually, trying to unify the words into some sort of meaningful narrative.

Next week, short stories.  I am assembling my historical ranks for this one ...
