Like Wrathy I'm also writing this in support of Geri

By Nibs
The Buzz word 'Bully' Reading Geri's blog again and all her responses from fellow cloudies has highlighted a lot of good stuff that has come from this call for help. Far more than I think even she anticipated. Which I think shows how much people care and are willing to help - .Some of my experiences, - people do get their cumupance. I once worked in an electronics lab, building prototype parts for cars and occasionally the test boxes that tested them.. Not a technician as per say but experience and a couple of courses gave me a good standing in my environment that I loved and still look upon the time spent in the lab as mostly a fun time. I had a boss who was a male. (forgive me but I won't give his name). The engineers I worked with didn't like him either and all felt sorry for me. But alas my handling of him wasn't too bad when I look back and still smile. I'm afraid when a man shouts at you and turns bright red with a dulap that wobbles as he sprays his words, can you really take him seriously? Afraid I used to stifle my giggles after a while. We used to call him 'pitbull XXXX'. Because he was always barking at folk and would nip at peoples ankles. We also used to call him pigeon, and you'd never guess why, - Because he used to sit around all day trying to shit on everyone. One lunchtime he was sat chatting with a director of the company as the director spouted off all the changes that were coming. A couple of days later, obviously the director had neglected to inform him during that conversation that he was not part of the new structure going forward, instead he was being made redundant. Aww! poor dab! hahaha. I once worked somewhere else. I've no idea why but a couple of people in the environment took a dislike of me. Still to this day I don't know why. Days passed where I would feel myself walk into a vipers nest only because of these 2 people. It was extremely hard to be in the same place as them. They just didn't like me and that was that. Thankfully, the boss and others working for the same comany did like me. Agression started to evolve from one in particular via email and I was ordered by the boss not to respond to any of them. I wanted to defend myself, but the boss was adamant that all communication happen through her and only her. (Never knew if she understood where the agression toward me came from either) . CUMUPANCE One day, both people were in attendance at a meeting and I came up as a subject, to which both people began to demand that I be sacked. I only had a little job, it wasn't much, and I handled it quite well. (there were no come-backs on me as the job was done properly - it was a shit job that no one else wanted to do - but that didn't matter as I was simply glad to be off the dole queue. It didn't end at me in the meeting, they apparently had a go about lots of others in the office they felt shouldn't be there. The whole episode blew up in their faces as they were both SACKED themselves. What a shame they should lose their jobs all because of their intolerant behaviour and gobs the size of chedder gourge.
