I am new to all this and I hate to admit it, but I have never written a blog before.

I have just completed my first book, a novel based on stories and anecdotes passed down from generation to generation. It is a saga about a family who move from Russia to England to escape the pogroms. I am just at the stage of preparing to send off a synopsis etc., to an agent.

Just to fill you in on my background. Ten years ago, I became ill with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME and Fybromyalgia. This means I have to rest for large portions of the day. It also means that I have pockets of time during the day for 'activities'. I have been using this time to write my book and am hoping a reputable agent will pick me up. Ah well, time will tell.
