Actually, the better the writer the harder it is to work on - not because there's nothing to say, but because it can be much harder to work out WHY the things which don't work, don't work. Sometimes with a good writer I have to go for a walk after reading it, before I know what's not working, and halfway round the park I'll suddenly find my mind saying "Ah, it's because we don't actually see X". Correcting commas and spotting head-hops and pushing wrongly-placed Telling around is the easy bit ;-)
And I loved all the jokes - glad I didn't have to choose! Though GD's was very, very funny!
for me it would be mostly f7 spell check and a year seven gramar lesson....and colouring outside of the lines......
