On a walking holiday to either Corfu, Cyprus or it might have been Sicily, a visit was paid so a museum of icons. I don't know why, but your pictures remind me of this visit. Only your pictures have more variety. Once I travelled and remember the Uffitzi in Florence. How many paintings of men with beards and halos can you take! A visit to the icon museum rather cures this.
