Had a bit of a schizophrenic moment earlier, whilst marking GCSE papers. Two of my characters were having a showdown inside my head and I actually replied to one of them out loud. Nearly time to resume writing I think.

Pinkbelt75 Just got in from the Whisky Festival. I tried 33 new whiskies today. Excellent day out for £20. Some I had more than once and there were so many others I didn't get to. Great day, truly Great!!!

Pinkie, re your fine comp entry and the conundrum therein:
I know a similar riddle with 4 men and 2 colours of hat, so I know (I think) the premise (don't want to give the game away). However, I'm still scratching my head.
So far I've got three ways it would be blue, and one way red. Before I expend any more mental energy, can I please check that there IS only one solution to this? i.e. you didn't just make it up on the fly?

Hi Pink. Loved your comp entry and want to read more. Great start to a WIP.

It's from a short story I wrote (published, actually, in a Bridge House anthology entitled 'Going Places') about a woman with Charles Bonnet syndrome, caused by failing sight. She sees things that aren't there, basically.
Thanks for your interest. And thanks for the comp. (I didn't have time to write a new original piece!)
