    Cool that you read a lot. Many people don't find the time. Either that or TV or computer or games gets in the way.

    I can learn plenty from books too.

    Hi SK, I'm not suggesting you open with a bang, far from it. An attention grabber can be anything. You want something to capture the reader's imagination, so that they will want to read on. This doesn't have to be explosive. It can be quirky,in fact it can be anything. As I said, an attention grabber. It's easier said than done though. I'm having the same problem myself.
