by G.O.D. 2 years agoHi Everyone,
Some people have felt upset at my using the word god as a name for this site.
If you think I'm making fun of your god, don't.
The letters G.O.D. are a name I was given by others from another writing group and has nothing to do with any god from any religious persuasion.
I also believe the word god is not exclusive to religion and can be used by anyone.
So to clear things up, I am a minor god from another civilization on a far flung planet in another universe completely separate from this one.
I am not worshiped or revered by anyone and have no religious following.
I have no amazing powers and know very little about the mysteries of life,
in fact I am quite ordinary and unassuming.
I do however have a passion for writing, lemonade chocolate and collecting old forgotten thoughts and memories stuck on the back of butterfly wings that I find scattered on the highway of life.
I hope this explanation will put to rest any uneasiness felt by people and they can find some enjoyment from the imagined dribblings that pour forth from the wonderful worlds I find inside my mind.
Thanks -
by maryluv 2 years agoWould you mind signing my copy of your biography? Still a best seller, after all these years...

by Marion 2 years agoLol! Your terminology does have a certain something to it, doesn't it? Just had a listen to Gong. Is that the weirdest band ever or what? The song on my profile page is by The Hours, not Narcissus Road. NR is the album title. Have a listen to the rest of their stuff, most of it is pretty good.

by maryluv 2 years agoThanks for reading my poem, GOD. I'll continue to scatter the blossoms in my head around the cloud. Apologies if they land near your blogs.

by Marion 2 years agoOh, abecedarian. You have much to learn from the one true god that is me. In the capacious expanses of your encephalon, learn from the master and what was once a barren wasteland of fatuity will propagate - the stultiloquence expatiated will burgeon into eloquence, judiciousness and savoir faire. I think.
