  Your ultimate writing ambition?
  I would love to be a full time writer of fiction novels, with occasional factual commissions. I've had several factual articles published in magazines/newspapers and I enjoy the research but I love the licence to twist fact into fiction in novels.
  Your worst habit?
  Getting started is hard but fine once I get going. Making a clear plot outline from the outset is tough too - I write as if walking through a thin mist, recognising routes & faces just in time but occasionally need to free myself from boggy mires
  Your opinion on the books industry?
  Too much celebrity and hype, but good books still get through
