by Tony 2 years agoYour welcome, Tosh. And don't think the small print was your fault. WordCloud has a mind of its own when it come to uploading text. You're lucky it made it all the same size!
You'll see I've added a note for others like Edwina who couldn't read it, on how to make it bigger.
Now for lesson number 2 ;-)
The best way to post a message to another member is not on your wall, but on theirs (just click on their name anywhere you see it). That way, if they have set it up, they will be notified by email that they have a message. So they will get it even if they are not monitoring the Cloud. And on the Cloud a yellow messsage on hte left says they have a message waiting, too.

by Tony 2 years agoHi Tosh, Just for the record, you're more likely to get critiques if you post your story under Forum Critiques. Blogs are more for airing & sharing opinions or interesting bits and pieces, rather than actually critiquing how they are written. You can easily cut and paste from your blog and put it into Critiques - you don't have to (people do post stories in blogs) but, as I say, you'll get a better response in Critiques. :-)
Did anyone explain Status to you? If you look at the top left of any page you'll see your Pic, name and logout. Just a little bit down from that it says Status and to the right of that you can click on Change. You can now enter some text that will always start "Tosh..." you can then fill in whatever you like to let people know what you're about: Tosh has just discovered what Status means" for example! Click on Change to enter it.
