Thanks. No - one or the other, and sometimes both, seem to come home most weekends. Stokie came home last night, in fact, as she's had some sort of bug this week. Seems to be recovering gradually. Other's coming home tomorrow - out with her boyfriend tonight. Hopefully everyone will be healthy again soon, as we're all going to see the Manics in Leicester on Sunday night. :))

You mean you're a creature of the dark? Well, well, who'd have thought it? :P
Stokie settling down reasonably well. Seems to be enjoying course on the whole, getting out and making a couple of close friends. She still comes home most weekends, but she's gradually getting there and getting more confident, thanks.

Had enough darkness yet? I know it's further north there, but it's only October!

I went to a 'using pictures' workshop' a few years ago. The leader, who writes mainly poetry and short stories, gave us all a copy of the same photo, and suggested a few questions to get us going. It was quite difficult at first but once we got started we found all sorts of ideas coming up. It was amazing how many different scenarios and bakcgrounds came up from that one photograph.

There you are, then! We are all dispassionate observers!

Hah! I think that's often the case with these courses, especially if you've already done some writing. They're good for motivation, though (hopefully).
Yep -yesterday was a bit hectic, but everything just about went smoothly. Even fitted in a visit from a Sky engineer because reception on some of the channels was appalling. He ended up supplying us with a new dish, new Sky box and accompanying remote control - all for their call-out charge. Not bad.

Yessir Mr Inky, right away, sir, you bet! My cats can never have enough petting so they're sad to miss out. Thank you.

Now, now, Mr Inktrailer. Ogling? Moi? I might practise keen observation or even appreciative observation, purely in an objective manner, of course. But ogling? Never! :)

LOL- your imaginary Teesside Casino is funny- but fairly true. 'Doyle' haven't heard that since school :D Yep, there are a lot of Chavs in the casino. Not everyone though. It's good night in there and the restaurant serves lovely food. We've had a few Christmas parties in there. x

I'm a part timer! Just 3 days a week, which is great as it means I spend time with my kids while they are young. So I can't complain about my boss too much- at least I know I get 4 days a week away from him. The others know he's horrible- one women has had councelling as a result of his bullying tactics. I suppose most Casinos would be suave- just not ones on Teesside.
