About

OK, so finally I'm updating this, just incase somebody adds me because I've finally gotten some work on. So my name is Patrick Kelleher. I'm going to be 16 in a few days. I've been writing since I was... Well about 6 or 7. My first "project", if you could call it that, was "The Boy Who Wanted a Dog," which, as the title suggests, is about a boy who desperately wanted a dog. It was strongly autobiographical! My second "project" was when I was about nine years old, entitled "Susie Mac Lou the Witch," which is basically Harry Potter by a nine year old boy. Despite the fact that it was a total rip off, I was ambitious and sent it to publishers. I'm still happy that I did it, it was 9,000 words long and there's not many nine year olds that can write that much. So then as I got older I stopped writing for a few years, I was a bit underconfident at it for a while. The longest project I have ever done was when I was twelve and I wrote the majority of a 50,000 word novel. I gave up near the end as it was going nowhere. Well now I'm writing again, and I'm trying to write a book, so add me!

Welcome to the Cloud. Hope you enjoy it and I love Amulet of Samarkand too! It's good to have more young fantasy writers here.
