    Hi Heidi

Great to speak to you again - and thank you for your comments on the first draft of my new historical fiction novel. All very helpful as usual. I have posted a new draft but I haven't had time to address the points you have raised - Word Cloud seems to have been down over the last few days. I will be removing the first draft so as to avoid confusion. :)

How is your writing going? Did you ever develop that fabulous story you wrote set on the beach with the dog, the good-looking Bosnian guy and the psychologist?

    Best wishes
    Susanna

Thank you! He's not so tiddly any more - he grows by the day. Yes, I'd like to change his name but should you really muck about with people's names? :) What if he's a boy - called Maggie?

Your comment about The Magician's Nephew made me remember all the Narnia books - I used to know the world of Narnia inside out - my favourite was The Horse and his boy. Love your choice of favourite books, particularly The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night - loved it!

I also like Digory and Polly a lot more. The Pevansie crowd are a bit priggish. for my tastes, anyway.

Hello Heidi. It wouldn't be any trouble. I used to spend more time there than I do now, but do go there often. My friend lives in Leigham and we used to meet in the field with the kids for picnics and rounders etc! I'll definitely get some pics for you - may bring back some happy memories of picnics on summer eves :] x

Just checked out your profile as I read your story on the forum.

Andorra - how fantastic. Been twice for hols in Aug/Sep in Arinsal - just up the road from you. One of my favourite places in the world is the refuge on Coma Pedrosa. Stayed there a couple of years ago and saw the horses come for breakfast. An amazing setting - crying out for a scene in a novel.

    Thanks Heidi!

As I already explained to BP, it's amazing what you can accomplish with a crash diet, a bottle of hair-dye and a little bit of photoshopping.
