    To have my book published, then made into a film, and then to act in the film. One can dream. Also to write the novel that is of indiscriminate form, and lurking well hidden; the one I know will actually be pretty good... To make a living by writing.

    Starting but not finishing something.
    Your opinion on the books industry?
    Too much celebrity and hype, but good books still get through

    At home

    Wondering why I didn't do more writing in uni, it seems my skills are very un-honed. I'm looking for a job in writing, whilst working on my first novel. Not 'the one novel within', but something that I hope I will be at least proud of when it's finished.

    Hi all. I have a favour to ask...I've entered a travel writing competition, and whoever has the most votes wins. I hope it's not spam to ask you to vote for me! I apologise if it is. The winner gets to go to Istanbul for a week and write their experiences up for the company magazine, so the stakes are pretty high exposure-wise...the closing date's the 4th Oct, so not long!     I agree, I think we're just too scared to try things for whatever the reason, but unless we get out there, we'll get nowhere.

    Hi Hannah, thanks for reading my blog. The table came about 10 days after the blog, and caused much amusement on here. I wrote a letter of complaint and spoke to a supervisor. The supervisor knocked off the carriage (£30.00) and offered me 20% of my next order. I never got a reply to my letter though.
