by Spangles 2 years agoYour message just goes to me, although anyone who clicks on my profile page can see it, and they can read it on the home page while it's still current. If you ever want to send a private message you go to that person's profile page and click on the 'send message' button at the top of the column. Anyway, I'm very well, thanks. How are you? Did you buy lots of vintage things the other day?

by Val 2 years agoI am feeling so guilty, I've not written on the cloud for ages. All sorts of things happening here and I'd let the cloud drift. Really bad of me!
Hey BF! Good to have you as a friend! You're more than welcome to read my stuff, but Wreccas is out of print at the moment and so it's the library or internet for that. Apprentice is still available. -
by Weens 2 years agoI just wanted to say how much I love your picture, is it you or is it just a vintage picture. Pandora has a host of pictures like this, of very vampy women, they are fabulous.

by Rebecca Holmes 2 years agoI know what you mean but I can't remember the exact saying. I like the one about the idle wind - it's too lazy to go round you so it cuts straight through. And puddings.... My family aren't into puddings which is probably just as well because I'd be as big as a barn. I usually make sure we have a pudding on Sundays, though I justify that by having some sort of fruit. I alway loved pretty much any sponge pudding and custard. I even get all nostalgic when I see the stands of packets of Birds trifle in the run-up to Christmas, because I was always allowed to make one of those for Boxing Day when I was a girl. Now I'm the only one of my family who eats trifle, so so much for that.

by Rebecca Holmes 2 years agoAbsolutely. When it's colder we all want more comfort food. And I'm afraid I think about food whether I'm on a diet or not. Oh, for some warmth - it's been in short supply this year on the whole.

by SecretSpi 2 years agoFancy a spot of caviar and fizz? It's only pretend but it usually tastes better that way...
