by Chocoholic 1 year agoUsed to pass through Haverfordwest a lot on the way to Pembrokeshire when a kid. Always looked out for a fleeting glimpse of the house my mum grew up in. It was a quite grand terraced house with fancy wrought iron work - is it still there? Saw it on the cover of a book once. Hope it's a listed building.

by curlykats 1 year agoHi Bex, thought I'd say hi as I noticed you're going to the Getting Published event and it would be good to get to know some fellow attendees in advance: the thought of the networking lunch fills me with horror! Great to see Marge Piercy as a favourite author-hardly any of my friends know her and Braided Lives is one of my all-time favourite books.
