I have no idea how she turned out so cute... in order to take after
her mum, she'd have to be rounder and infinitely more ginger, and
to take after her dad, she'd have to be much darker and more
frowny!
^^D When she's like this, she's adorable... when she's tantruming,
not so much!
She does make me laugh, though. We've taken one side off her cot
now (she was getting out over the bars), and she *still* managed to
get her leg trapped in the remaining bars this morning. 6am, and I
am woken to little, almost begging cries of 'I got my leg stuck! I
got my leg stuck!' *sighs*
I've just had 2 weeks with my grandchildren. How do you keep your
room so tidy?
Ours wreck the place in a few minutes and build dens with blankets
and tablecloths and pile in every cushion they can find in the
house - and then have a tea party with squash and pour it
everywhere but if we put towels down to soak it up it isn't too bad
and they play for hours.
Believe me, the room (which is tiny - in that photo, you can see
about half of it, literally!) is usually the pits (as is the rest
of the house - you should see my kitchen right now. We were really
tired yesterday and decided to have a nice 'veg' day, but we're
paying for it now - how does one use so many mugs in one day when
only 2 of you use mugs?!), but we'd just played 'tidy up', and I
set up a little desk for her so she could copy mummy whilst mummy
tried to do some writing. Then daddy came in and took some photos
(since she was playing so nicely), and it all went to pot - bored
with playing writing, she went back to her favourite game of
'jumping all over mummy'. The rather annoying thing is hubby then
went back to the dining room, where he settled down and carried on
with his writing (we roleplay, and he writes his own scenarios -
they're like little mini short stories that give us things to do),
whereas I had to stop... grr! She never bugs daddy when he is
writing, but mummy is always fair game! Oh well...
Awwww...she is lovely!....me loves babies...when I can hand them
back of course!
So she is nothing like you....and nothing like hubby...so what does
the milkman look like?..;)
