About

Software programmer by day, author-in-training squeezed in at every other available moment! I’m at my happiest when involved in the world of a story, and have been writing stories since I was eight. Some of these stories were even translated into screenplays and made into films with my friends and family while I was in high school. I tend towards fantasy and romance, with a few other genres slipping in for good measure.

I have a website, which includes story excerpts, at http://www.onelittlespark.net, if anyone is interested.

Ha ha. Yes, it was c) - but without incredible astuteness. I'm neither psychic or psycho - you can put the knife down now ;-)
My parents in law live near Worthing so I know it a little...a bit of a fantasy makeover wouldn't do it any harm (hee hee).

Glad you liked the photos - I'm very lucky to have such a nice neighbour.
Good luck with the NovemberNovel too - a fantasy story based in Worthing?

South Island does offer an extraordinary landscape. WHEN(!) you return, I would suggest Queenstown as the location to be based. It's an appealing place in itself, but best of all is the variety of unique terrain that can be explored striking out from there.

Hi cdm, nice to see you Clouding again. I still think of you as Cadburys Dairy Milk and consequently have nothing but positive thoughts about your good self. (I'm not meant to eat Choccy but I can dream!) Long may your initials prosper!

Thanks for your message cdm. No, it wasn't a pop at your blog. I was trying to be supportive of those who were getting anxious about being thought of as fungus. I would like to have helped you get to the bottom of the 3D's. Thinking about it, maybe the only way to not get upset by recent events is avoid all emotional attachment, but I certainly wouldn't recommend that. I hope you feel more cheery soon and apologies for using the provocative phrase on your blog.

No probs honey, things can get to you, you just have to ignore it and think about yourself and your career. Remember why we are all on here and that there is tons of support for you whenever you need it. Good luck with your writing :)

That's how I'm feeling, too, at the moment, for various reasons. Fingers crossed things pick up/get resolved.

Hellish is a good word for it. It's the first rewrite, revision, so I'm going to have to go through it again, at least a couple more times. I wonder if I'll ever be happy with it.

Good to see you back. What have you been up to? I'm STILL revising!

I'm revising and rewriting too. Painful!
