"I love you. Don't you dare die."

A city girl (who is different from her own family) goes to live with her grandparents in Northen England. They own part of what was once an estate house.
The tale of the town is that the oldest son Robert was tragically murdured.
In the girl's family every other generation can see ghosts.
So she can see the ghost of Robert just as her grandmother can.

Robert starts to fall in love with her and at the end it ends tragically for the girl.

I am thinking of making this a series as well. But I'm not sure.
