by Eshka 2 years agoHaha it doesn't matter, I'll see that you've replied on the home page anyway so whichever works for you! I reply to posts on my own wall all the time.

by Eshka 2 years agoWow, thank you. It has had positive feedback, especially from friends - and even from friends who have fallen head over heels for this vampire nonsense. One came to my house not that long ago gushing at me about Twilight; she said ''Oh I'd lend you the books but I couldn't bear to part with them.'' I replied, ''That's just as well because I wouldn't read them, I'd only burn them in the garden and probably have a bit of a dance while I was at it'.''
You should become more involved here - the more you speak up, the more you get back. And don't ever let me see you saying ''How sad am I'' again, that's awful! I hate seeing people depricate themselves that way. I'll happily have a read at your work, too. Always good to keep up with the other writers :) -
by Rust 2 years agoI joined the cloud ages ago, but never did anything as I didn't know what the hell to say. I'd never joined a forum before and was a little lost, but have decided to turn over a new leaf and be bold. Ha ha. How sad am I.
I know, everyone is just gaga over the new, insipid vampire genre. The oldies were the best - building suspense without giving too much away. Really, I thought your article was very, very good. I'll make a point of reading your other work. -
by Eshka 2 years agoHey rust, where'd you come from? Haha I've never noticed your name here before but you're obviously not a newbie! Thanks for commenting on the blog, it's actually an article that I wrote and had published online this week. As I'm sure you gathered from reading it, I'm fed up to the back teeth with the cheapening of perfectly good horror material. I'm a huge horror fan, but my enthusiasm wanes when people start asking me if I've seen Rob Zombie's latest film or read the Twilight books...eurgh. If I ever meet Stephenie Meyer or whatever her name is she'll have a lot to answer for. As I said to another clouder earlier today, bring back Vincent Price! To hell with pretty boy Pattensons and their perfect hair.
