    Hmmm... I'll be shockingly original, and say GET PUBLISHED! After that, a little fame and fortune wouldn't go amiss, but the main thing is just to get my thoughts and dreams and ideas in print.

    Over-thinking things, being long winded, trying to cram in too many ideas.
    Your opinion on the books industry?
    It is a tough game, but everyone does their best
    Where do you write?
    Anywhere, but usually in bed on my laptop.
    What else do you want Word Clouders to know? eg: do you have 9 cats / like paragliding / eat nothing but tinned fish / work in the bath / live in Kettering?
    I'm also an artist/illustrator & enjoy illustrating a lot of things from my stories (scenes/objects/character) just for my own pleasure & reference while writing. would also one day like to combine the skills to write & illustrate something for children.

Okay... A description of me... Let's see, built like Arnold Schwarzenegger, skilled in piloting various spacecraft, right through to wielding a broadsword, and ruggedly handsome with brooding looks... Oh, arse, no, that's not me, that's a character...

Um, okay, me... Average guy, bit overweight, glasses, goatee, likes to write (I'm sensing a theme here). I'm also an artist/illustrator and like to visualise things for my stories.

I'm also a bit of a movie nut, with a big collection of DVDs, HD DVDs, Blu Rays... (The videos are long gone! I can't help feeling nostalgic for the days of those big space-hogging book-like cases!)

During the day, I design and program educational software, which while perhaps not the most exciting thing in the world, is at least creative, so keeps me going!

What can I say? I'm just another one of many here, who have delusions of grandeur, dreaming of their words in print one day, selling to a ravenous public! But till then... ;)

    Hey, Welcome to the Cloud! I was in Huddersfield once (my mam used to live there) nice place. Good India take-away but all I remember really is eating really cold chips on the side of a hill so what do I know.

    You went to York? Lucky! I would loved to have gone, but I have a wee one, so I couldn't make it... maybe next year.

    There are quite a few of us Lovecraft peeps around - lots of the fantasy, sci fi and horror writers here hold him and his ilk dear. This is a lovely site - lots of people have given me excellent advice and critique, and with their help, am overcoming a dreadful case of adjectivitis. No 'yeah, it's cool' responses here!
