Thanks very much, John. This also gives me the chance to thank you for your performance on Saturday night. I was transported, too - to another place, and into another viewpoint. People were talking afterwards about how authentic it felt.

Shelley – I loved your Authonomy piece. Very many congratulations: I look forward to the book on prominent display in my local Waterstones - buying it, taking it home and being transported into the world you created.

Shelley, I'm really sorry we didn't get a chance to chat more. I looked around for you but whenever I saw you, you were busy. I'm looking forward to hearing from you when you've recovered.

Thanks very much, Eyress. It was a great festival, wasn't it? I could do it all again after a couple of nights' sleep!

Hi Shelley, hope you had a calm journey home yesterday. 4 hours of motorway driving has left me pretty shattered today, but I still got working on my redraft as soon as I was awake this morning! Just hope that the inspiration and motivation keeps up!

Thank goodness. What yesterday needed more than anything else was cheese. Well, and wine, obviously. Good luck with your book, you have such style!
