    Dear Jenny,
Hope you and your family are well, and that your book about cholera is going swimmingly!
I've been an usher at the theatre on and off for thirty four years - it's a great way to see plays; for one hour's worth of "work" (it's basically just charm, no heavy lifting, well, boxes of programs . . . okay, a little heavy lifting) we get to see the play, we're invited to the receptions, we get to know the actors . . . it's a lot of fun, and sometimes it's absolutely magical. My favorite play at the moment is, "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change." The play I ushered for last night I didn't like very much, and that's okay too, I still enjoyed it, and I wasn't out $42.00. It's an opportunity to see people.
Peterborough is a nice little town, artistic, and friendly. We are going to a terrific art opening across the street tonight.
Working steady here. Procastinating only about housework.
    Best wishes,
    Maggie
