I am a retired transport worker having spent many years as a 'Knight of the Road' before going into transport administration. My retirement years so far have been taken up by writing in the winter months, and during the summer by traveling in the UK with my wife in our touring caravan. We both enjoy visiting places of historical interest, including those related to our ancestry. I served for eighteen years in the Territorial Army as a 'medic' in the Royal Army Medical Corps, which is probably where I get my interest in military history.
