    Marts, either:
    1. Post an extract in Forum > Critiques and ask for feedback. Keep it under 2,500 words and take the invisible formatting out first or it will look a mess. (Easiest way is to paste into WordPad and then into the forum).

    2. Set up a blog on here and post extracts in it. If your blog is busy, people will take a look.

    3. Join one of the groups and post work there (In my experience the groups are very quiet).

    Parenthood
As a child I never understood, the role of parenthood.
With my demands, I asked and wanted.
Not for much I did not feel, I would cast my rod and slowly reel.
Although my desires were not always met, I never kicked up a fret.

Now as a parent I understand, the screaming voice of a child’s demand.
The unwillingness of their aim to understand, as they travel through teenage land.
You never do anything I want to do, you are useless and I never want to see you.
I took her assertion as a phrase I understood; this is just an excursion in the role of parenthood.

Hi Marts, got your message. Not much I can add to Tony's post below. It's fairly easy to navigate about but if you get stuck on anything specific feel free to drop us a line.

Hi Marts and welcome to the Cloud. If you have a look in the Forum/Critiques general, the first three threads give you some useful guidelines for using the site. Basically, post short pieces of writing in the Forum for others to critique, but be prepared to offer your comments on others' writing, too. If you just want to share your views on something (not for critiquing) put it in a blog. There are specialist Groups as well, where some post their work that relates to that particular speciality, but the way WordCloud is set up, it's not so easy to keep track of contributions in Groups and they often go unnoticed for some time before they are stumbled across - at least that's my experience. Feel free to join in any 'conversations' that you see going on on the main wall - just always be polite and respect others' views. Write on, Mart.

Don't go Marts. The cloud gremlin strikes again. It rears its head from time to time, but usually runs smoothly in the interim period. Welcome to the cloud. Enjoy.

There appears to be a glitch in the Cloud.

I suggest you speak to The WordCloud. You should find him on the members tab.
