    York definitely sounds interesting and I might give it a go next year depending on other commitments. Sounds as though you were busy. Will your workshop next year be on non-fiction? On the meeting agents front, I have friends who've done this at various events and had mixed feelings about how effective it was, given that the agents were seeing so many people and only spent a very limited time.

    Wow, five books coming out over the next year! That's wonderful. How long have they been in preparation? (Don't answer that if you don't want to.) What are they all about?

    It is friendly. I've been on it for about a year now. Sadly I didn't get to York. Perhaps another time. Sometimes it's difficult to assess how 'useful' a particular event can be, especially with quite a few around. Did you go?
