Horror/Humour must be one of the most difficult genres to balance, unless you're going down the 'Carry On...' line. I don't envy you the task but I admire your courage.
Must be difficult in the broadband era still managing on dial-up. I recall I used to use a site that allowed you to pay a penny per hour but it took about that long just to get my emails up and running. I suspect it would be difficult for you to 'follow' my blog for the same reason. Re my book, if you go onto the website, www.stuartaken.co.uk and go to the 'Novels' page, you'll find the first 2 chaps there to read and that, as it's just text, should upload quite quickly for you.
    Good luck with your writing.

Hi Stuart I finally managed to get my Blog, up and running, I was using the wrong search engine. Now that I am on Firefox, I can also follow the links properly. I had a look at your Blog, very interesting! Unfortunately I can't get into your Book because I'm on dial up, I tried to and twelve hours later I was still waiting!!

Loved your profile, it struck a chord. My husband got a job as a Manager on a Banana and Avocado farm in the (then) Eastern Transvaal. I was so happy there, we had hippos in the garden, crocs in the dam and were literally about 20 minutes from the Kruger Park. Then the farm was sold and he got retrenched, in one step we lost his employment and our home, it was really, really frightening.

I'm hoping that I can now use all these experiences in my book, I am basing it around here, The Valley of a Thousand Hills, which I absolutely love. It's supposed to be Horror/Humour, not working properly though.

I've added myself as a follower of your blogspot blog. I've blogged on the Cloud about Blogspot, would very much appreciate your input. My Blogspot skills are minimal, I don't think I've entirely got the hang of it!
